From the natural waist, the bouncy skirt flares into a sweeping ball gown silhouette, while the embroidery and beading continues to an elongated cathedral train. The open shoulder line and low back keep the top light against the voluminous skirt. A separate lace bolero changes this proportion, with a high illusion neckline, long sleeves and a closed back creating a more closed top line. The corset base of the dress is still visible through the translucent lace. The ball volume and long train remain expressive in both versions.
