Illume is built on a dramatic shift in scale. First, it’s a short lace dress with narrow straps, a straight top line and a corset bodice, where floral embroidery emphasizes the compact shape. A removable overskirt transforms the same top into a longer bridal silhouette with a wider movement from the waist to the train. Lace and tulle tie the two versions together, so the short and long looks don’t look accidentally connected.
