Minimalist wedding and evening dresses
The minimalist style reduces the number of visible techniques, so the proportions, seams, folds and surface of the fabric become more visible. Look at the dress without accessories in direct and side light, check the front, profile and back, and add jewelry, veil or cape one by one, tracking the change of composition.

Remove the jewelry from the frame and look only at the dress first. If there are few visible techniques in the composition, the eye quickly finds the proportion of the bodice, the position of the waist, the line of the skirt and the edge of the neckline. This is the essence of the minimalist style: not necessarily the absence of decor, but a reduced visual vocabulary. It doesn't automatically make a model simple, easy, or convenient.
When there are few accents, the cut is read more accurately
IN silhouette case check the side seam, folds and the transition from the waist to the hips; in a straight form — the vertical and the width of the hem. Satin shows folds and drapes due to the reflection of light, the mikado defines the edge more clearly, but the behavior must be judged on the specific dress. Take a picture near a window and under an overhead light: the same smooth plane can show seams, shadows and irregularities in different ways.
Minimalism allows a separate strong gesture. Collection can collect the entire composition around one direction, the cut — to give a local vertical, the bow — to create volume from the back. It is important that the detail has a clear role and does not become an accidental addition. Check it in face, profile and during a step; fit, support or comfort cannot be defined from a stylistic label.
Classic style sticks to the ceremonial hierarchy of bodice, waist and skirt and may have significantly more lace or embroidery. Modern wider: it allows asymmetry, transformation and saturated texture, so not every modern model is minimalist. At the fitting, sit down, turn around and look at the back without adjusting the fabric between movements. Then add a veil, earrings, cape or other element from the section CRYSTAL accessories one at a time - so you can see which one maintains a clean line, and which one changes the main accent.
