It is important that the detail has a clear role and does not become an accidental addition. Check it in face, profile and during a step; fit, support or comfort cannot be defined from a stylistic label.

Classic style sticks to the ceremonial hierarchy of bodice, waist and skirt and may have significantly more lace or embroidery. Modern wider: it allows asymmetry, transformation and saturated texture, so not every modern model is minimalist. At the fitting, sit down, turn around and look at the back without adjusting the fabric between movements.
