Less is More IV

There is no one-size-fits-all mood in Less is More IV. Lace and tulle soften precise lines, mikados add shape, and capes and detachable sleeves change the character of the dress without changing its foundation.

Lace lets in light, mikados define volume, and tulle blurs the line between dress and movement. Less is More IV, introduced in 2023, builds on these tonal changes. In one model, the form sounds restrained, in another, flowers and beads come forward; Eva Lendel does not reduce femininity to one mood. Individual images can be almost opposite and at the same time maintain an internal connection.

One character would not be true

The difference is noticeable not only in invoices. Sheath leads the eye along the figure, the ball skirt unfolds wider, and the A-silhouette and "mermaid" leave a few more degrees of expressiveness between them. Lace can cover a large part of the dress, whereas mikado works with large clean planes. On the lace, the floral pattern makes the surface richer; satin, on the contrary, leaves it smooth and gives primacy to the cut. Low or open back moves the accent back. Cape adds a new shoulder line; removable sleeves or a top skirt change the silhouette, but do not hide its base.
