Special Edition

The podium tone of the Special Edition begins not with excess, but with a change in proportions. Along with long cases and straight forms appear mini dresses; a ball skirt brings back the ceremonial scale, and one jumpsuit and trouser looks depart from the usual wedding outline even further. The contrast is clear and deliberate.

The difference is enhanced by the materials. Lace creates a more complex pattern, chantilly makes it thinner, satin leaves the surface smooth. Straight necklines and models without straps open the shoulders, high necks collect the top vertically. The corset bodice in part of the dresses remains a visible design line; the floral motif, slits and open backs add their own rhythm without being repeated in every look.

Half of the line has a transformed design. Capes and removable sleeves change the outer layer, so the same foundation can sound more subdued at the ceremony and more open at the wedding reception.
