Dresses with a sweetheart neckline
A soft heart-shaped line opens the collarbones, defines the neckline and softens the top of the image. A heart-shaped neckline is universal, but its depth should be chosen according to the shape of the chest and the desired degree of openness: a shallow arc looks more restrained, a pronounced depression - more daring.

Two rounded lines converge in the center of the neckline and form a recognizable outline of the heart. This shape opens the collarbones, draws attention to the face and chest, but does not make the top sharp: smooth arcs soften its geometry. A heart-shaped cut is considered universal precisely because of its variability — from a shallow wave to an expressive central depression.
The depth of the cut changes the whole image
For a more discreet ceremony, a calm arc is appropriate, which only outlines the neckline. The deeper version sounds bolder and naturally transitions into an evening look. At the fitting, it is important to see where the edge of the bodice passes: a wider arc opens the top more strongly, and a deeper central point makes the neckline more accentuated. The final effect is determined not by the name of the neckline, but by its specific height, width and fit.
The heart shape is often combined with a bodice without straps: then the shoulders remain completely open and the top is read cleanly. Open shoulders they add horizontal along the collarbones and can balance out a voluminous skirt. On A-silhouettes this soft line maintains a calm proportion, while in mermaids repeats the rounded curves of the entire cut.
Finishing changes the character of the contour no less than the depth. Lace blurs the edge with a pattern and makes the neckline more delicate, the smooth fabric shows the shape clearly, and the beads draw attention to the light on the bodice. The open area allows you to add a suspension, but its lower edge should not conflict with the central depression; earrings are enough for an active decor. The collected hair shows the shoulders more clearly, the soft waves next to the face support the rounded shape of the neckline.
On samples in Lviv compare two different depths, turn sideways, sit down and raise your arms. So you can see if the desired cleavage line is maintained in motion and if the degree of openness corresponds to your event format.
