Romero

Romero builds a classic ballroom volume on a dense ivory taffeta. A straight strapless bodice opens the shoulders and keeps the top line calm, and floral lace appliqués add relief on a smooth surface. A combined waistline translates the silhouette into a wide gathered skirt, which ends with a cathedral train. A closed back makes the basic dress more restrained. The image can be changed with individual elements: transparent long sleeves create a soft open shoulder line, and a short taffeta bolero adds expressive volume to the lantern sleeves. Thus, the set retains the wedding base, but gives several ways to present the upper part of the dress.
