Less is More II

Movement here is more important than decorative volume. Less is More II, presented in 2022, reinterprets the bridal classic through clean proportions: the waistline remains defined, the fabric gathers in soft pleats, and removable details change the silhouette in one precise gesture. So Eva Lendel continues the minimalist series, without reducing it to strict simplicity. The classics here are familiar grammar, in which the intonation has been changed.

Most often, the dress opens A-silhouette; there are "mermaids", cases, ballroom and short models. Even trouser suits and overalls do not fall out of the general intonation, because they are held together by the same attention to the line. Collection guides the fabric around the bodice, and floral motifs appear locally, leaving image spaces. Open shoulders and sweetheart necklines soften the geometry, while a low back shifts the accent to the back. The upper skirt adds volume, the cape changes the contour of the shoulders, the bolero makes the top more closed - each element works visibly and does not require additional explanations.
