The Riva Lace Dress begins with a strapless corset bodice and sweetheart neckline. From the natural waist, the bouncy skirt flares into a sweeping ball gown silhouette, while the embroidery and beading continues to an elongated cathedral train. The open shoulder line and low back keep the top light against the voluminous skirt. A separate lace bolero changes this proportion, with a high illusion neckline, long sleeves and a closed back creating a more closed top line. The corset base of the dress is still visible through the translucent lace. The ball volume and long train remain expressive in both versions. In Ukraine, Riva combines an open corset base with a lace bolero.
