Mini wedding and evening dresses

In mini, the lower edge passes above the knee, but its actual height depends on height, proportions and the specific model. Check the hem from the front and from the back while standing, sitting, leaning and on a step; evaluate the lining, top layers, footwear and movement separately.

The level of the short hem changes noticeably when you sit down. This length is defined by the hem above the knee, often at the top of the thighs, but the same model ends up at different heights depending on height and proportions. Therefore, focus not only on the name, but on the actual edge from the front and from the back.

Asymmetrical Length has intentionally different hem levels: shorter front and longer back or other uneven contour. Cut only opens the area inside the skirt without turning the long hem into a mini. If both solutions are combined, determine the main hemline first, then estimate the opening or additional layer separately.

A multi-layered skirt also requires a two-dimensional look. Trace where the lining ends and how much lower or higher the transparent edge is tulle. Shoes do not change the length of the fabric itself, but change the overall proportion of the image; look at it with a full-length hemline, not just a portrait shot.

At the fitting, sit on a chair, bend over as if lifting a small object, and place your foot on a step. Then walk and come back: check the height in the front, both sides, the back and how the top layers snap back into place. These movements do not prove automatic convenience, but show the limits of a particular model. On samples in CRYSTAL compare standing and sitting shots and decide on length without the promise of lengthening your legs or conforming to a specific event format.
